Gov. Mukhtar Yero condemn Fadan Karshi Attack, calls for calm

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Mukhtar Ramalan Yero has condemned the attack at Fadan Karshi village, Sanga Local Government area describing the act as a ‘provocative attempt by some unpatriotic people to cause confusion and unrest’.
In a statement by his Director General Media and Publicity, Ahmed Maiyaki, the Governor condoled with families of victims of the unwarranted attack on innocent citizens in the area.

Governor Yero said “We call on people in Fadan Karshi and other parts of the State to remain calm as security forces have already been deployed in the area to maintain law and order. We should remain united and resolute in resisting obvious attempts by agents of darkness to create confusion and sow seeds of discord in our State.”
The Governor said security agencies have already been directed to commence investigation into the matter and are on the tracks of the criminals adding that ‘no stone shall be left unturned in our resolve to bring perpetrators of this attack and all other criminal assault on our people in the past to justice.”
The Governor called on the entire people of Kaduna State to continue to live in peace with one another and to become more vigilant in observing happenings in their areas with a view to assisting security agencies with relevant information on suspicious persons and movements within and around their communities.

Entertainers and a group of media friends visited ace producer,  OJB Jezreel  at his No. 4, Gbaja Street, Surulere residence on Monday, June 24, 2013. The small convergence was organised to show support for the ailing producer who has been down with kidney failure and in urgent need of a transplant. BREAKING: Jonathan swears in Shekarau as Nigeria’s Education Minister

Mr. Shekarau, a former Kano State governor, decamped from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. President Goodluck Jonathan has sworn-in the four new ministers, who were cleared by the National Assembly. They include Ibrahim Shekarau, Stephen Oru, Adedayo Adeyeye and Abdul Bulama. Mr. Shekarau, a former Kano State governor, decamped from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
